Times Of Youth: For those who don’t know about you and your work, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Muhammad Ibrahim: Hello, my name is Muhammad Ibrahim. I’m a Ballpoint Artist, from Karachi, Pakistan. Im 20 years old. Im a self taught artist but I also polished my skills from different institutes. I love sketching.
Times Of Youth: How would you describe your work to someone who has never known about it?
Muhammad Ibrahim: I love sketching portraits. My favorite medium is ‘Ballpoint Pen’ though it’s a hard and time consuming medium but, I love it.
Times Of Youth: What are the biggest challenges of working in your country?
Muhammad Ibrahim: In Pakistan there is less art supplies but we artist can manage it. In Pakistan there are very talented artists and are good competitors, too.
Times Of Youth: At what age did you start doing all this work? Has your family always been supportive of this choice of career?
Muhammad Ibrahim: Since the age of 18, I’ve been doing art sketching. My family supports me alot and appreciates what I’m doing. Basically I’m studying architecture.
Times Of Youth: Which of your projects are you most proud of and why?
Muhammad Ibrahim: I’ve done my recent portrait of an old man with Ballpoint pen of Size: 16″ x 20″. It’s one of my Faviourte masterpiece because the expression of that man attracts people and engages them to think about it.
Times Of Youth: Where do you see yourself in next 5 years?
Muhammad Ibrahim: I see my self as a good Architect and an Artist as well, exploring the world more.
Times Of Youth: Any message to your fans or followers via TIMES OF YOUTH?
Muhammad Ibrahim: I just want to say that art is the second face of life, live your dreams and do whatever you feel like. Never feel shy by what people say and comment.
